3 Cakes, 1 Reason to Celebrate

The first cake was the cupcake I bought from Sweet Confections by Giselle 

(watch out for my blog about it) 

Reflection:

Yes, it was my birthday on the 12th and I got the chance to spend time alone, reading a book and drinking coffee. (Just so me!) This is my solitude time when I don't need to think about others but myself. One of my most treasured moments.

The second cake was my sister gift for me

Reflection:

The time I spent with my family was of course one of the things I always look forward. We often eat together and for me, they are the BESTEST gift God has ever given me. I may not be the most mabait daughter in the whole world, but they still love and no matter what, they are still the people whom I turn to every time I'm weary and lost.

The third cake must have been the most surprising of all.

Seriously, If I'm an onin skinned individual, I should've cried! To my offciemates who celebrated my birthday with me, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You made it extra special. :)

Reflection:

This represents the people who have remembered my day and who greeted me. From my cellphone, to twitter to facebook etc. etc.

I honestly don't like to be the center of attention and thus, I always keep my birthday a secret but I'm also glad I was able to celebrate it outside home. 

To our HR, thanks also for giving me a simple birthday gift. :))

and of course, Thanks to my family for these wonderful gifts. :))

Quarter life crisis it is but for me, I think I'm done with it. Now, I'm ready to soar and conquer. Soar with my dreams and conquer fear.  I have more reason to thank God and as I've said, I'm the happiest.

Simple yet very meaningful birthday. That is exactly who I am and what I want my life to be. 

PS: To my twin brother Sim and twin sister Ynah who also celebrated their birthday (the same as me) You are two people that I always remember during this day. Hope you had a blast!
